After ten years away, the band SOFT, considered by many to be the successor to the legendary group Malavoi, is back in the spotlight with their new album, Ti Guadeloupéyen. The créole-jazz group formed by guitarist and singer-songwriter Fred Deshayes, accompanied by double bassist Joel Larochelle and saxophonist Philippe Sadikalay, has profoundly influenced the history of Caribbean music. The band will perform at New Morning for the album release, and the first single will be featured on playlists for RFI and Espaces FM. To accompany the release of the new album, the group has decided to release a Best Of of their discography.
