Description

Since 2004, Belfast-based space, sludge and doom juggernauts, Slomatics, have consistently journeyed through the cosmic plains to find dark riff-based inspiration. The universe is vast, and Slomatics have never been found wanting. Each album tells its own story, but every Slomatics release is replete with bone-rattling primal heaviness, in the form of fuzz-laden doom and (stoner) psychedelic rock, which can be likened to an occult blend of Electric Wizard, YOB and Conan; raw, smoky, powerful, dark, otherworldly, passionate and mythical! Their 6th full-length studio album "Canyons" (2019) was described as "a spiritual muddy monster with an alien humanity, a tender pounding and a melancholic slabbing".
