Formed in 1981, Slayer stormed the world with a new hybrid of metal and punk - heavier, faster, and darker than others - and set a new standard, defining not only a genre but also an attitude. Throughout its history, the band has never hesitated to launch its extreme and targeted auditory assault. Rejecting temptations, Slayer has always chosen to remain overwhelming and brutal, categorically refusing to conform to the mainstream.
