Will Dorey aka Skinshape has proven time and time again to be a keen connoisseur of cosmopolitanism, in a prolific career where he has expertly explored discreet sounds and theatrical textures. A former member of the indie band Palace, he has played everywhere from Glastonbury to the BBC MaidaVale and Shepherd's Bush Empire. About his latest album, Craterellus Tubaeformis, Dorey remarks: "As I continue to make albums, I always try to capture certain elements of Skinshape's original style. Here, I went through albums 1 to 3. This record is an echo of Skinshape's "Life & Love" era, a playful psychedelia, with hard-hitting rhythms, fun surprises and an attempt at meaningful lyrics. The album includes the singles "It's Real", "Amnesia" and "The Ocean". For fans of Khruangbin, El Michels Affair, Madlib and Bonobo.
