Skarra Mucci, the world-renowned Jamaican MC known as the "Dancehall President," teams up with Manudigital, one of Europe's top producers, for the album Ragga Blasta. Following the success of the eponymous EP, the duo drives the concept further with a full album of 10 tracks, showcasing a diverse range of inspirations where hybrid beats and sound system references intersect. This project retains the essence of the first release: the energy of the track Ragga Blasta blending reggae and hip-hop boom bap, the ragga beat of Angel with its intoxicating sample from Likkle Devon, and the heavy bass of Freedom Fighter. It also features the more introspective rub a dub of Inna Mi Brain, the collaboration with Queen Omega on the explosive ska track Feel It, and the soaring dub Natty where Skarra delivers a precisely rapped flow. This extended version gains even more power with the addition of four new tracks designed to resonate with sound systems and dancefloors. Skarra Mucci showcases his technical mastery on Lyrics Machine, a track with a punchy flow influenced by hip-hop, while delivering a powerful and unifying dancehall vibe on Nah Fraid No Police. The tracklist is further enriched by the legendary presence of Johnny Osbourne on the title What A La La, before broadening its musical horizons by venturing into hybrid sounds with the festive Rock This Cumbia.
