Greatest Hits

Description

At the end of the 90s, everything indicates that Great Britain is not ready for the furious, political, and powerfully electric rock of Six by Seven. Everything seems to be going well with Tony Blair in power and Coldplay about to become the biggest band in the world. No one to understand the lyrics denouncing the illusion of success, junk food, and politics among other things from Chris Olley. And yet! Formed in 1994, the band brilliantly redefines English rock through three albums on the Mantra label via Beggars Banquet - The Things We Make (1998), The Closer You Get (2000), The Way I Feel Today (2002). Driven by two singles, Candlelight (1998) and I O U Love (2002), they tour extensively, record five Peel Sessions, and appear in the studios of the famous Later With Jools Holland. An ideal Greatest Hits for a dive into the band's universe!
