The arrivals of John Mc Geoch (ex-Magazine guitarist) and Budgie (ex-Slits drummer) would literally revolutionize the band's musical approach. Pop influences rubbed shoulders with the post-punk impulses that characterized the Banshees' sound. 'Happy House' and 'Christine' allowed this album to reach the heights and definitively establish Siouxsie as a cornerstone of post-punk.
