Sinsaenum is a death metal supergroup created in 2016 by Frédéric Leclercq (ex-DragonForce, Kreator) and the legendary Joey Jordison (ex-Slipknot). Combining the ferocity of death metal and the darkness of black metal, the group boasts an elite lineup. Their debut opus Echoes of the Tortured exploded onto the scene, hailed for its relentless brutality and cinematic horror. In 2021, the Metal world was shaken by the untimely death of Joey Jordison, a visionary force behind the band's sound. In Devastation, the third album by Sinsaenum, composed of 10 tracks, was shaped by grief and an unbroken series of challenges, from the pandemic to the deaths of Leclercq's and Jordison's fathers. Joined by the rest of the band: Stéphane Buriez, Attila Csihar, Sean Zatorsky, and Heimoth, Sinsaenum now channels this pain into purpose, dedicating the album to their fallen brother and the fire that still burns within them.
