At The Bowl Vol.2 (Radio Broadcast)

Description

Classic live performance by Simple Minds. Includes: "Waterfront", "Belfast Child", "Someone Somewhere (In Summertime)", "Alive And Kicking", "Big Sleep" and more! In 1991, Simple Minds returned with Real Life. The album reached number two in the UK, where it also spawned four Top 40 singles. The band toured in support of the release, playing as a core five-piece (Jim Kerr, Charlie Burchill, Mel Gaynor, bassist Malcolm Foster and new keyboardist MarkTaylor) and scaling back the extended arrangements of the last major tours. On August 24, 1991, Simple Minds played the huge Milton Keynes Bowl as part of their Real Life tour, and for many fans, this show was the best of the entire run. Playing for nearly two hours in total that late summer evening more than 30 years ago, the entire concert was recorded for a live FM radio broadcast and is now available in full on this new two-part set.
