The essential Simon & Garfunkel

Close friends since childhood, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel quickly reached the heights of 60s Pop music thanks to an unbeatable combination of catchy songs with strong lyrics, not to mention the presence of rich vocal harmonies. Hits like "The Sound Of Silence" and "Mrs. Robinson" from the famous film The Graduate (Le Lauréat in French) in 1967 allowed them to establish themselves as the greatest storytellers of the decade, before culminating in the release of their last studio album in 1970, the legendary Bridge Over Troubled Water. From that date, Paul and Art pursued their respective solo careers, but ended up reuniting several times in the 70s and 80s, initially on the single "My Little Town," taken from Paul Simon's album Still Crazy After All These Years released in 1975, then in 1981 during a landmark concert in Central Park that gathered no less than 500,000 people. Other joint appearances over the years naturally led them to reform for the Old Friends tour in 2003 and 2004.
