Remastered reissue of the 2012 album with singer Tony Martin (Black Sabbath) and an additional bonus CD. SILVER HORSES was formed in Italy five years ago by guitarist Gianluca Galli (Time Machine) and drummer Matteo Bonini (MGRB). After completing the line-up with bassist Andrea Castelli, the band needed an English-born singer to perform its classic Hard Rock songs. Through Dario Mollo, they got in touch with Tony Martin (ex Black Sabbath, Mollo Martin, Giuntini Project, Empire, M3), who immediately agreed, and the combo recorded its first self-titled album. Known for having been the frontman of the British legends Black Sabbath during their most commercial period in the late 80s and early 90s, Tony Martin’s bluesy tone was the ideal choice for this kind of material. Silver Horses’ music is classic and traditional Hard Rock, with one foot firmly planted in the 70s and the other in the 80s groove reminiscent of the Whitesnake and Free classics. “Silver Horses” offers a very classic set of hard rock songs superbly written, performed, and recorded. The sound and style are typically British, served by precise and polished musicianship, finely produced, warm and organic. Tony Martin feels at ease with this material and his voice is in top form, as usual, bringing out the tracks with his phenomenal throat. Highly recommended classic Hard Rock! The bonus tracks include 5 tracks with Tony Martin on vocals, 2 with Joel Ellis (Heavy Bones, Cats In Boots…), and 5 with Stefan Berggren (Company of Snakes, Snakes in Paradise…), 3 tracks with Jack Meille and one track with Kelly Keeling (Baton Rouge…).
