Description

The new album “RAINMAKER” by Finnish death metal band SIGIR on CD. The album consists of seven tracks and runs 41 minutes, making it a fairly substantial debut. Two of the songs, "The Lantern" and "Depraved", were released as singles. Sigir delivers a dual guitar attack. There are a number of beautifully executed acoustic passages throughout the album, including the title intro and the opening track, "Rainmaker". The most interesting tracks have a mixed tempo, which adds more texture and nuance, reinforcing the melodic atmosphere. Among these songs are "Depraved", "The Offer" and "From Time to Eternity". The band members are from Vesanto, a small town in central Finland.
