For its 18th series, the Masters Box Set Collection presents five new volumes of 3 to 9 CDs, offering the most beautiful musical cycles and legendary anthologies by the greatest performers from our Sony Classical, CBS, and RCA Victor catalogs, in remastered versions, and at a very low price! It includes a 7CD box set of George Szell accompanied by the Cleveland Orchestra gathering the complete recordings dedicated to Czech music (Dvorák and Smetana), many of which are available for the first time on CD. Also available is a 3CD box set of Rudolf Serkin dedicated to his recordings of Bach for Columbia, including the essential Brandenburg Concertos captured in London in 1935. The recordings of Mozart by his son Peter Serkin for RCA are the subject of a new 6CD box set, which contains among other things the Piano Concertos No. 14 to 19 and the extraordinary solo album of the pianist dedicated to Mozart and originally released in the late 1960s. The works of Schubert for 4 hands by the Israeli-German duo Yaara Tal and Andreas Groethuysen are available for the first time in full in a new 7CD box set, including the Grand Duo or the Fantasy in F minor. Finally, the last box set, and not the least, consisting of 9 CDs, is dedicated to the genius of Györgi Ligeti and compiles his greatest works performed by Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Esa-Pekka Salonen, and the Arditti Quartet.
