The originator of "salsamuffin," an innovative cocktail of the two major Caribbean music genres, reggae and salsa, he had fun dubbing four well-selected tracks in his floating studio, "le Guakamayo." Formed around French singer Bruno Garcia, the band SERGENT GARCIA is a pioneer in blending salsa, reggae, ska, cumbia, and dancehall with a "punk attitude." With its salsamuffin style, the band offers a musical fusion evoking Cuba, Jamaica, Colombia... SERGENT GARCIA is a major force on the European world music scene! As the guitarist for the punk rock band Ludwig Von 88, Bruno has led several world tours with Colectivo Iyé Ifé, playing in Europe, the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Colombia.
