Roots

Description

Some will say that the best things come to an end. Indeed, Roots would be Max Cavalera’s last appearance with the flagship death and thrash metal band, Sepultura. It was only ten years later that he would reunite with his brother Igor to continue a musical adventure under the name Cavalera Conspiracy. With forays into traditional Brazilian percussion, this album is considered a masterpiece of the genre. The presence of Mike Patton and Carlinhos Brown shows the band’s desire to confront their Brazilian culture with their metal influence. Excerpt from the guide “La Discothèque idéale Fnac” 2016
