Sen Morimoto, a multidisciplinary Japanese-American artist based between Chicago and Tokyo, returns with his fourth album, Time Is On Your Side, set to be released on October 23 via Sooper Records. Influenced by pop, folk, jazz, hip hop, and indie, Sen develops a free-spirited music that transcends genres, blending vintage drum machines, organic guitars, and string arrangements. With this album, Morimoto explores a slower and more introspective approach, focusing on the relationship with time, memories, and creation. The tracks were sometimes composed quickly, while others have been nurtured over several years. Entirely crafted by Sen, from the music to the visuals, the album also brings together the musicians from his live band in Chicago, creating an intimate, personal, and deeply artisanal universe.
