Our fifth chapter is the one where we seek, savor, and settle in. The muse found us in the depths of child-rearing, maintaining relationships, surviving a virus that changed the world, farewells, mindset shifts, and discovering a previously invisible sense of peace. Our third decade of life has proven to be a decade of routine, rest, and realization, and these songs speak to the lessons we have learned. We have learned to be space holders and advocates for those we hold dear. We have learned from deep and stable love in various forms. We have learned to let go of people, perceptions, and priorities that simply did not hold up as we weighed what is right, important, and worthy of respect. We have learned how all the things we have always cherished continue to withstand the pressure of time.
