Screaming Trees was an American rock band formed in 1985 in Ellensburg, Washington. Related to the grunge movement, their sound was a mix of 1960s psychedelic rock and 70s hard rock. Although highly regarded by critics, they never achieved the popularity of other grunge bands like Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, or Pearl Jam. They disbanded in 2000, 4 years after the release of their last album, Dust. Mark Lanegan was the leader and singer throughout all those years. Remastered reissue of the last album released in 1996. Includes a 2nd CD featuring 11 bonus tracks.
