Loving Echoes is the debut solo album by Scott Mannion, co-founder of the New Zealand label Lil' Chief Records, known for supporting Jonathan Bree, Princess Chelsea, and The Ruby Suns. This is his first record in 15 years, after becoming a cult figure in the New Zealand alternative scene. The ten tracks of the album tell, in order, the story of a doomed romantic relationship. Now settled in a medieval town in the mountains near Valencia, Spain, Mannion delivers an intimate and melancholic album that traces the different stages of this story.
