This edition comprises all the albums recorded by the legendary Bill Evans Trio, consisting of Evans on piano, Scott LaFaro on bass, and Paul Motian on drums: the two studio albums *Portrait in Jazz* & *Explorations* (with the addition of two bonus tracks), and *The Village Vanguard Sessions* (which includes *Sunday at the Village Vanguard* and *Waltz for Debby*, as well as an alternative version of "Alice in Wonderland" and a rendition of "I Loves You Porgy," neither of which appeared on the original albums).
