Topology

Description

Scott Holiday, guitarist of RIVAL SONS, releases his first solo album "Topology". "This sharp artistic direction, fully embraced by the guitarist, was originally an instrumental project. It is a collection of ideas gathered here and there, at the whim of the musician's inspiration, capturing snapshots, before perceiving a common language, an atmosphere, full of psychedelic experiments, diverse textures, and rhythms that take him out of his habits. This project was built in collaboration with Michael Miley, drummer of Rival Sons, and then with keyboardist Jesse Nason, who incorporates his own vintage sounds. Describing the evolution of his ideas, Scott Holiday does not hesitate to say he was surprised "that they were no longer just instrumental pieces. They were ready for a story. After realizing this, the lyrics came to me quickly. That's when I knew it was time to embody this new role. I had to be the one who tells these stories." (rollingstones.fr).
