To celebrate the 30th anniversary of one of the best-selling singles of all time, "Wind of Change," the band SCORPIONS is releasing an exclusive box set including 1 CD, 1 LP, and 1 collector's book of 84 pages. "Wind of Change: The Iconic Song" is dedicated exclusively to the ballad written by Klaus Meine, which became the soundtrack to the end of the Cold War. Inspired by the experience of the Music Peace Festival in Moscow in 1989, "Wind of Change" embodies the feeling of hope, optimism, and the prospect of a better future. The box set includes a CD, a 12" LP containing 5 versions of the song, including an unreleased hidden track, and a 84-page book containing an essay written by Dr. Edgar Klüsener, former editor-in-chief of Metal Hammer and close confidant of the band. He interviewed Klaus Meine exclusively for this box set. In addition to the essay, the book contains rare photos from the band's photographer Didi Zill and private archives of Klaus Meine, as well as the handwritten lyrics of "Wind of Change" by Klaus Meine.
