After the resounding success of the last studio album 'Love At First Sting' and the live album 'World Wide Live', the Scorpions were under the pressure of enormous expectations in 1988. The musicians escaped the pressure and barricaded themselves in the studio for nearly three years, where they meticulously worked on the next album with producer Dieter Dierks. On SAVAGE AMUSEMENT, the Scorpions present themselves more mature and demonstrate that they belong more than ever to the forefront of hard rock in terms of production. Despite all the changes, the album was still a typical Scorpions work: a good dose of unbridled aggression and dynamics, beautiful harmonies and melodies, brilliant guitars, and of course the unique voice of Klaus Meine. No wonder that 'Savage Amusement', released on April 16, 1988, extended the success of the previous albums and became another worldwide hit.'Savage Amusement' is now released on 180 gr. vinyl, light blue color.In addition to 'Savage Amusement', 'Fly To The Rainbow', 'In Trance', 'Virgin Killer', 'Humanity - Hour 1', 'Taken By Force', 'Blackout', 'Lovedrive', 'Tokyo Tapes', 'World Wide Live', 'Animal Magnetism' and 'Love At First Sting' will also be released in new colored vinyl versions.
