Rock Believer

Description

In February 2022, the legendary rockers of Scorpions return with a new studio album, Rock Believer, recorded in their studio in Hanover during lockdown. The album was written and composed with, more than ever, the desire to stay true to the DNA of early Scorpions, with Schenker and Meine compositions at the heart of this new release. “We really returned to the musical essence of what defined Scorpions from the very beginning,” says Klaus Meine, the band’s singer. The new tracks were composed with wild fervor, a new energy: “We recorded the album all together, live, in one room, just as we did in the 80s. We can’t wait to start playing it live for our fans again!” The sound of this new album conveys enormous, unchanged energy, a real shot of adrenaline and uncompromising sound quality. The album unfolds through little stories, prose poems, with sumptuous sounds distinguished by Scorpions’ signature 80s musical style, with 2020 production values. Far from resting on their laurels, the Hanover quintet has never forgotten to visit France, synonymous with tours, often sold out, that have always passed through many cities and festivals across the Hexagon. This time, the band will stop in France for 7 dates in Toulouse, Lille, Nice, Amnéville, Clermont-Ferrand and Paris, where they will once again play at the Accor Arena, the venue where they were the first rock band to perform in 1984. Scorpions will also make a stop in Clisson, headlining Hellfest. Dubbed Rock Believer, this new album and this new tour could not have a better name.
