Description
Saxon's ascent continued in 1984 with the album "Crusader", whose songwriting and production leaned towards a more "mainstream" metal sound. From the outset, the eponymous track stood out as one of the band's best compositions, particularly due to its catchy chorus, while the excellent "A Little Bit of What You Fancy" soon followed suit. Judiciously placed at the heart of the album, "Sailing to America" shone with its melody and brought a certain balance to the whole. Further on, "Do It All for You" served as a reminder that metal has always been able to give birth to captivating, weightless power ballads, before the dark "Run for Your Lives" set the record straight and angrily punctuated this very fine album.Buy Crusader at the best price
