Adore life

Description

« Savages speaks about change and the power to change. About metamorphosis and evolution. About staying true to its foundations and strengthening them. Living in the present, not in the future. »
Two years after 'Silence Yourself', their first album released in 2012 that made a sensation on the indie rock scene, the Franco-English quartet Savages has clearly evolved and is set to conquer the world with its second album 'Adore Life'. Recorded at RAK Studios in London in April 2015, this new opus was produced by a powerhouse trio: Johnny Hostile in production (John & Jehn, Lescop, etc.), Richard Woodcraft (Radiohead, Neil Young, Grinderman, Arctic Monkeys.) on sound and Danish DJ/composer Anders Trentmöller on mixing.
The band's incredible live performance at Route du Rock 2015 announced a raw, dark and intense new album and 'Adore Life' does not disappoint. From the very first track and electrifying single 'The Answer', the band's thirst for battle is obvious and spreads like a trail of incandescent powder across the entire album. Listen to 'Evil', 'Something New' and 'T.I.W.Y.G' to convince yourself: Savages is ready to turn everything upside down in its path. This urgency also gives birth to luminous moments like on the magnificent 'Adore'.
'Adore Life' : « a bass, a guitar, a drum kit and a voice. Opening up and never, ever dying. » The recipe for a great album!
