Eugen d'Albert, referred to as "Albertus Magnus" by his teacher Liszt, was one of the most extraordinary pianists of his time. Throughout his tumultuous life as a soloist, which took him on multiple tours of concert halls across Europe, he always pursued his strong desire to compose. His works include compositions for piano, concertos, symphonies, songs, as well as 20 operas.
