Formed for Mozart y Mambo, a very popular project designed by Sarah Willis from the Berlin Philharmonic, Sarahbanda explores the captivating rhythms of Cuban dance in a way never heard before. How? By using an instrument that is not typically used in the traditional music of Cuban bands: the horn. The sound of Sarah's horn combined with the Cuban rhythms played by some of the most talented musicians from Cuba creates an exciting and passionate group like no other. With their new exclusive arrangements of some of the most well-known Cuban songs, such as Chan Chan and Sandunguera, original compositions by the band members, and a few classical and Cuban surprises, Sarahbanda brings a whole new sound — fresh, innovative, irresistible, and one that you simply have to get up and dance to!
