Sarah Tandy is a unique voice within London's thriving jazz scene, having built a reputation as a formidable and dynamic performer. Sarah's talent has made her highly sought after, and she has collaborated with a diverse range of artists including Yazmin Lacey, Nubya Garcia, Yussef Dayes, Binker Golding, Jazz Jamaica, Femi Koleoso, Camilla George, and Basement Jaxx. A classically trained pianist, she released her debut album on the Jazz Re:freshed label in 2019. Acclaimed by critics, she was nominated for Jazz FM's Breakthrough Artist of the Year award. During the touring hiatus in 2020, she studied music production and electronic music, which led her to co-write and produce Yazmin Lacey's recent album, Voice Notes, and ultimately to create her new album, Delicious Capricious. A true musical journey blending psychedelic funk, hip-hop, deep groove, grime, trip hop, soul, and the London spirit, the album is infused with a palpable love for the passion and exuberance of jazz and features collaborations with guest artists, including performances by K.O.G., Kyra, Tee Peters, and Akin Soul.
