Sara Parkman's fourth album - the first since Eros Agape Philia in 2022 - explores mystical tradition and the work required to live one's life to the fullest. This album marks a new stage in Sara Parkman's musical evolution, moving from passionate, majestic phrasing to an introspective tone. A recurring theme is that of prayer and work, or "ora et labora" in Latin. "I hope that the idea of prayer and work can be a source of comfort, hope and encouragement in these difficult times. We must continue to work and believe in the common good," says Sara Parkman. Since her debut album in 2016, Sara Parkman has pushed the boundaries of folk music. Her albums have been repeatedly praised for their ability to blend tradition and modernity. She has received numerous prestigious awards in Sweden - from Grammis to the Dagens Nyheter Culture Prize - and her tours sell out. An emblematic figure of a movement that extends beyond her, she has also carved out a unique place for herself in Scandinavian folk music, notably through her involvement in her own record label, Supertraditional.
