For several years a reference violin-guitar duo, Sara Chenal and Olivier Pelmoine return to their early loves with this new album, when they won the Mauro Giuliani International Competition with Paganini on the program. This recording is also the story of a magnificent violin, a famous Stradivarius called "Le Sarasate", which belonged to Paganini, then to Sarasate, now owned by the Musée de la Musique. Now out of use, a competition was launched a few years ago to make a copy of it.
