Once upon a time in the Great West, there was a group of childhood friends who, for about seven years, have made it a habit to meet on Wednesday evenings after work to live their passion for music. There is Nico, a farmer, singer, and guitarist, Valentin, a tile craftsman, singer, and percussionist, Fabrice, a fruit and vegetable seller and accordionist, Alexis, a head of a design office and bassist, Yohann, a sales representative and guitarist, and finally Cyril, an automotive technician and drummer. As their progress continued, they decided to leave their rehearsal space and began performing in local bars. To a repertoire of eleven resolutely festive and optimistic French songs, a collective title was added, born from the boredom of the first lockdown. On a melody composed for the occasion, each of the six friends wrote a verse where he evokes, in his own way, his universe and his daily life. Once the synthesis was established, the title came almost naturally, reflecting the adventure: "Sans Prétention." Broadcast on the internet, the group experienced a success that no one imagined at the start: over 2.5 million views in less than a year.
