The platinum collection : Sandra

Description

Rich box sets packed with hits and unreleased tracks The entire world of an exceptional pop singer and a prolific composer Maria Magdalena, In The Heat Of The Night, Heaven Can Wait, One More Night, Don't Be Aggressive, Forever... Through all these titles, Sandra lit up the 80s and 90s. Crystal-clear, her voice somehow distilled that era and remains astonishingly haunting today when listening to her platinum. Driven by inspired keyboards, this true female icon indeed knew how to champion high-fashion pop by tackling covers such as Everlasting Love or Nights In White Satin, and took risks with the hushed The Way I Am and All You Zombies... Bursting with freshness and energy, her platinum therefore traces her long career across the first two CDs and will satisfy fans with the extended versions on CD 3, while it will still be possible to hear the singer's inimitable voice on the platinum Enigma. Indeed, having broken through with the track Sadeness in 1990, Enigma is the other project of Michael Cretu, the writer of Sandra's biggest hits. A pioneer, Cretu was able with Enigma to define the foundations of high-end new-age music, constantly reinventing himself, using samples as singular as they were judicious (Gregorian or Eastern chants...). This is reflected today in this platinum with its standout tracks (Return to innocence, Age of loneliness, La puerta del cielo.), whose CDs 2 and 3 will be all the more attention-grabbing as they contain interesting remixes and unreleased tracks.
