This situation has also been the driving force behind SAMURAI PIZZA CATS, who emerged from the Electric Callboy environment. Singer Sebastian Fischer was behind the mic in their predecessor band Her Smile In Grief, which also included Daniel "Danskimo" Haniß, who is now enjoying success as a guitarist, songwriter, and producer for Eskimo Callboy. The connection between the two has never been broken, and Daniel has also produced Sebastian's later band, Fall Of Gaia, in recent years, with former drummer and multi-instrumentalist Stefan Buchwald also involved in this new project: a family venture in downtown Castrop Rauxel! Stupid question! Of course, because they are fearless warriors on their instruments, they love eating pizza, and they adore cats! And maybe a little because they have a soft spot for anime and ridiculous band names – but only maybe. Rumor has it that "Banzai! Smack! Meow!" is an onomatopoeia to describe the sound of the band.
