14th album since 2014... This new release is once again an ode to depression, an invitation to spleen, a call to lamentation... Well, since it's depressive black metal, we’re not going to be jumping around. However, there is a personal touch, partly due to the addition of a very airy clean voice and beautiful, atmospheric choirs that make it curiously a bit brighter. We can also note a more prominent use of post-rock riffs. So yes, you might say "14 albums since 2014 can't be that great!" and I respond: false, next case, and listen to this one. A beautiful addition to this prolific band's discography. For fans of Hypotermia, Left Alone, Kill Yourself Make A Change.
