Sadek returns with his new album “Changement de propriétaire”. There are albums that are milestones and others that represent a rebirth in an artist's career. We are here in the second case. After his rather tumultuous year in 2021, Sadek unplugged everything to take a step back and come back better. The milestones set by “Aimons-nous vivants” become reality here down to the smallest details. The artist becomes his own producer and chooses where before he could sometimes be subjected. With a rather dark tone, the album features destructive punchlines and themes that are not often addressed (Sport de Riche, Plus qu’ami). Listening to the album “Changement de propriétaire” is like wandering through the artist's mind and seeing him exorcise his demons in real time but without ever falling into pathos; his missteps do not all come from him, but he takes responsibility for his part, he even claims it. A cornerstone of Sadek's artistic, physical, spiritual, and human renewal, the album shows that he has lost none of his brilliance and that he must always be counted on. The old Sadek is dead!
