Scenery

Description

The Swiss label We Release What The Fuck We Want is starting a new adventure, We Release Jazz, and is offering as its first release the most elegant reissue: Ryo Fukui. Two releases, two reissues, one artist. "Scenery," originally released in 1976, just 6 years after FUKUI learned the piano! Probably one of the most well-known and recognized Japanese jazz albums. Cool jazz and bop, often compared to McCoy Tyner or Bill Evans, Fukui was a genius, and his perfectionism gave birth to a cult record with an incomparable sound.
