Description

'Gates to Purgatory' is the first studio album by the German heavy metal band Running Wild, released in 1984. It predates their themes about piracy and features lyrics mainly influenced by Satanism, but also songs with anarchic and libertarian themes. It is part of Gerald "Preacher" Warnecke's theology studies. He left the band shortly after the album's release to become a priest. This special yellow vinyl version is a limited edition. The band, formed in 1984, reinvented itself with each album, ranging from progressive rock to gothic rock.
