Run the Jewels, the duo formed by EL-P + Killer Mike, the best independent American rap group, is back with a third album: Run The Jewels 3 Run The Jewels was born from the unique collaboration between EL-P, a legend of US indie rap, founding member of Company Flow and co-founder of the now-defunct label Def Jux, and Killer Mike, another legend of Atlanta rap, seen alongside Jay Z, OutKast... Their previous album, RTJ2 (2014), described by Telerama as "one of the most mind-blowing rap records of the year," allowed them to perform at major festivals, from Pitchfork to Rock en Seine... The album includes features with the talented: Danny Brown, Tunde Adebimpe (TV on the Radio), Trina, and the saxophonist Kamasi Washington.
