Carnet de routes

Description

This trio has a fascinating sound. A disturbing and stimulating energy emerges from most of the tracks. A recording without manipulation, without gimmicks and with great presence: true and raw sound. A success' Jazz Magazine 'Music brimming with a shared experience, recorded in a state of grace, technical perfection seeming as natural as breathing. (...) Guy Le Querrec’s Carnets de routes is the subject, alongside the record, of a 96-page booklet that reads like an initiation. Essential' Télérama 'More than the simple sum of three strong personalities from jazz and improvised music, masters of interactive playing, this triumvirate proves to be a true trio with a captivating sound, whose music in perpetual motion feeds on exchange at every moment. A subtle play of mirrors with a powerful evocative force, to which Guy le Querrec’s photos give the right measure. Images of troubling beauty, between reality and imagination' Les InRocks
