Publisher of the reference discography of Django Reinhardt (40 CDs, 760 pages of booklets), Frémeaux & Associés is now one of the leading independent producers of gypsy jazz. This music, both generous and accessible, as well as scholarly and technical, demonstrates the cultural and musicological richness of the gypsy genre's contribution to Western culture.
Romane is one of its most prominent representatives, and his compositions have become true standards. Frémeaux & Associés celebrates the work of the guitarist by collecting the entirety of his phonographic career to make it available to the public in a Complete Works, of which French Guitar is the tenth volume.
