The year 2025 marked the 150th anniversary of the death of Georges Bizet, composer of the famous opera « Carmen ». On this occasion, the Italian pianist Roberto Prosseda dedicated his new album to the composer's lesser-known piano repertoire, recording the complete works for solo piano, including the « Chants du Rhin », songs without words in the tradition of Mendelssohn, as well as preludes, nocturnes and waltzes that echo the romantic heritage of Chopin.
