In my soul

Description

The new major work from the Prophet of the blues! For his 17th studio album, Robert Cray hits hard and delivers us a magnificent record of stripped-down blues, masterfully tinged with soul, as only a true giant of the genre can! 11 tracks crafted with masterful skill in the purest spirit of the Stax or Chess years. 11 because on this first edition, there is a bonus track. With 5 Grammy awards, millions of records sold around the world, thousands of sold-out concerts, this emblematic figure of blues rock is considered one of the most talented guitarists of his generation and owes his nickname of Prophet of the blues to none other than Mr. BB King! To reduce Robert Cray to a great guitarist would be to show disrespect to the charismatic singer whose velvet voice continues to work wonders on these 10 tracks (since there is also a very fine instrumental in the style of a film noir soundtrack). A thrilling album produced by his longtime friend Steve Jordan, who managed to capture all the energy of Robert Cray and his formidable musicians.
