Classic Hard Rock nourished by blues rock, here come the Rival Sons, hailing from California! We already knew it, but definitely with The Answer, Black Stone Cherry, Wolfmother, etc., Neo Classic Rock is on the rise and we will soon have to count on Rival Sons who could very quickly rise to the top of the genre. The band was formed in 2008 in Los Angeles with the firm intention of making the most fantastic music influenced by the Beatles, the Doors, Led Zeppelin, soul, blues, and gospel. They added a few ingredients not present enough in contemporary Rock bands: passion, sincerity, and danger. One thing is for sure: Rival Sons will not go unnoticed in 2011. The critics are already unanimous and blogs are calling them a "band to watch in 2011," also comparing the band to the Black Crowes.
