La Furie, Histoires d'Héroïnes
Description
After 2 shows "Badineries between jazz and poetry" and "Rimendo plays Boris Vian", Rimendo decides to record their 1st album for their new project "La Furie, stories of heroines". Virginie Peyral composes the music and Sarah Olivier writes the lyrics. It tells the fascinating stories of women from mythology (The Erinyes, the Norns...) and modern times. We travel across the world (Sampat Pal from the Gulabi Gang in India, Diana, the bus driver huntress in Mexico, Grisélidis Réal, prostitute and libertarian artist from Switzerland...). Real songs married to jazz sublimely directed by Julien Alour on trumpet (nominated for the Victoires du jazz 2022) and by a thunderous rhythm section (Sylvain Dubrez on double bass and Nicolas Grupp on drums). One could imagine this new project as the music of several short films, so vivid are the images that arise when listening to the concert. The album release is planned for spring 2023. It was produced by Jean Lamoot (Alain Bashung, Noir Désir, Brigitte Fontaine, Salif Keïta...) who honored the group Rimendo by associating his immense talent with this new project.Buy La Furie, Histoires d'Héroïnes at the best price
