Description
Music of the Sun is the debut album by pop singer Rihanna, released under the Def Jam label on August 12, 2005. Before signing a contract, Rihanna was discovered by producer Evan Rogers, who helped her create demos and send them to labels. After signing with Def Jam, Rihanna continued to work with Rogers and his partner Carl Sturken on her first album. Music of the Sun was recorded between 2004 and 2005.
