Announcing Made in Germany, by the Olmos Ensemble based in San Antonio, Texas, the first in an exciting series of albums to be released by Divine Art Records. Originally formed by principal musicians from the San Antonio Symphony, the Olmos Ensemble has established itself as one of Texas's leading chamber music organizations and includes top musicians from across the United States. Made in Germany will be released on August 7, 2026, coinciding with the opening of its 32nd season on August 9. Made in Germany features three composers of German origin: Richard Strauss, Rudolf Tillmetz, and Ruth Schonthal. The album includes the first recording of the highly regarded arrangement of Strauss's Don Quichotte by Laszlo Varga for six instruments: clarinet, French horn, violin, viola, cello, and piano, which features all the principal members of the Olmos Ensemble except for the flute.
