Reverend was an American thrash
power metal band from Seattle, Washington. Formed in early 1989 when singer David Wayne left Metal Church. Most of the early members of the band were recruited from a power metal band from Los Angeles called Heretic (and the singer of Heretic, Mike Howe, joined Metal Church). Led by singer David Wayne, REVEREND recorded its first 4-track EP in 1989. "The World Won't Miss You" was the band's first album from 1990.
