INCLUDES A PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED BBC CONCERT PERFORMANCE FROM 1978, A PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED PERFORMANCE FOR SWISS TELEVISION IN 1974, AND THE BBC TELEVISION AND RADIO CONCERT SIGHT & SOUND IN CONCERT FROM 1977. WITH AN ILLUSTRATED BOOKLET. In addition to being an excellent band on record, Renaissance was also a wonderful live group, featuring the sublime voice of singer Annie Haslam. Although Esoteric's expanded reissues of Renaissance have included BBC recordings, this box set contains material previously omitted from those releases. "Can You Hear Me: Broadcasts 1974-1978" includes the stereo radio version of the band's performance at BBC Sight & Sound In Concert from 1977 (recently discovered in the archives and released on CD for the first time) and a previously unreleased performance for BBC Radio In Concert from October 1978, both recently remastered from the BBC masters. A region-free Blu-ray video disc is also included, featuring the band's appearance on the Swiss television show Kaleidospop from 1974 (previously unreleased), the complete performance from BBC TV Sight & Sound In Concert from 1977, and a performance of Northern Lights from the BBC TV show Top of the Pops. "Can You Hear Me: Broadcasts 1974-1978" is a collection of wonderful live performances by Renaissance and is an essential addition to their excellent body of work.
