Do means the Island in Korean, the Way in Japanese, "I give" in Italian, accomplish in English...
So many meanings to this word, so many inner resonances for Rémi Panossian in this new adventure.
After touring the stages of the world with his trio, with which he has just released a 4th album, it became evident for him to reveal himself in a more intimate form, in solo piano.
Rémi Panossian has been performing regularly solo since his beginnings, but it was in 2016, between two solo piano tours in Asia, that the desire to record this music grew.
A lover of melodies, his live performances are energetic, enchanting, organic. On stage, Rémi Panossian brings his music to life, between poetic softness, rock references, and lyrical flights.
To be as close as possible to what drives him, he surrounds himself for this first solo album with his long-time friend and accomplice, the trumpeter, composer Nicolas Gardel, to whom he entrusts the artistic direction.
They decide to record live, without retouches to stay as close as possible to the emotion.
